The departments are split so finely that I have to check who to ask 🚪

Even inside a big company, the departments are split up incredibly finely.

Broadly there are 3, sales, operations and development, and I am in operations.

To take sales as an easy example, inside it is split up further still, by who each team looks after.

Even when the network cannot be used, the place we hand it to changes. If the fault is on the cable side it is this department, and if it is on the config side it is that department.

At a company like this, rather than pushing through your own way, people who can honestly trace the way that is already decided seem to be doing better.
