I have 3 monitors on my desk and about 12 more on the wall 🖥

This is a story about how many monitors the people who work in network operations have. At a telecom carrier there are a huge number of monitors, and first, you have 3 monitors.

And in front of me, not quite a big cinema, but there are about 8, no, about 12 TV-sized monitors, and on them are the names of the alarms.

And of course the weather matters too, so weather information, fault information, all kinds of things are on monitors. It is nothing but monitors.

When I lift my face there are 3 monitors on my desk, and when I raise my eyes a little there are a huge number of monitors on the TVs.

Some people even have about 4 monitors, 3 in front of them plus one above their head. That is how many monitors there are in network operations.
