A night shift can leave me in the office for about 20 hours 🕛

On a night shift day, the rule says the shift is from 4:30pm until 9:30am the next morning.

But when it is a busy weekday, it just turns into overtime, and there are times when I am still working until 12 or 1 in the afternoon.

When that happens, the time I am in the office is about 20 hours.

But it is a strange thing. Once it gets past 12, energy starts coming up instead, and I get a feeling that I could keep working forever.

Why is that, I wonder. The human body, whether it slept or not, always seems to perk up around just before 12 in the middle of the day.
