The veteran on my team keeps working through the whole break 🍱

The veteran keeps working all through the break.

We do have a 1 hour break.

But even after that person says “I am taking my break”, they keep going on the computer, tidying up the records they handled that day.

When I asked “wait, are you on a break?”, the answer that came back was “well, I mean it to be a break”.

On my break I usually take a nap, or sleep face down on my desk, but that person does not rest at all and just keeps working.

Because there is someone who stays awake through the break, we can respond fast even when a fault happens, so I am very thankful.
