My first big company felt like school, where I traced a way already decided 🏫

When I joined a big company, at first I thought it was like school.

It was my first time working at a company that was founded over 40 years ago.

The knowledge of many different people has piled up there, so rather than thinking for myself, it felt like tracing a way that was already decided.

The wording of the emails and the format of the reports were already decided, and I thought that here, carrying things out exactly as the manual says, without mistakes, is what matters.

I think people who were good at school study, or who can act exactly as they are told, are very suited to the work of a big company.
